  9. This software is NOT public domain, but may be
  10. used and passed on freely, as long as all included
  11. files remain unaltered. If you wish to include
  12. this in a "PD" library, then obtain permission
  13. from the author.

  17.  This application converts between various units,
  18. generally SI and Imperial, but there are also some
  19. more specialised conversions, such as energy
  20. equivalents.
  21.  
  22.  When this application is run, by double clicking
  23. on it in a directory display, it's icon is
  24. installed on the iconbar.
  25.  
  26.  Clicking with SELECT on the iconbar icon opens
  27. the convert window. As a value is entered into one
  28. of the writable icons, the converted values will
  29. be continuously updated and displayed. A
  30. particular value can be cleared using Ctrl U (hold
  31. down ctrl and press U). Clicking MENU within the
  32. convert window leads to a choice of various
  33. classes of unit to convert, e.g. speed, length.

  35.  In addition to simple unit conversions, it is
  36. also possible to calculate mean free paths,
  37. average velocities, and collision frequencies for
  38. gas molecules at various temperatures, pressures
  39. and molar mass.

  42. application is running.
